Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you download or use the Soundscape Studio iPhone app. By using it you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where these terms are silent, Apple's terms govern.
What the app is for
Soundscape Studio helps you build ambient soundscapes and short wind-down narrations for relaxing, focusing and falling asleep. It is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor sleep problems. If you have trouble sleeping, talk to a health professional.
Keep the volume at a comfortable level, especially with headphones and when listening for long periods or while falling asleep. Don't use the app in situations where you need to stay alert, such as driving.
Cloud features
Coach, cloud photo/voice readings, cloud mix generation and the wind-down voice are optional and only run after you allow them. They are provided by third parties (DeepSeek and MiniMax) and may be slow, unavailable, limited or changed at any time. When cloud music isn't available, the app may build the mix with its on-device synthesizer instead.
AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected or not what you described. Suggestions are never applied until you choose to use them. Please review what you keep.
Your content
You keep whatever rights you have in the scenes you write, the photos you choose and the words you speak. You are responsible for that content: only use photos and text you have the right to use, and don't submit anything unlawful, hateful, or that invades someone else's privacy. You may use the mixes, narrations and covers you create for your own personal, non-commercial listening and sharing, subject to the provider terms that apply to generated audio.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to extract, reuse or abuse the app's connection to the AI services, or use the app to generate content at scale.
- Don't reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except as the law allows.
- Don't use the app to break any law or to harm others.
The app as it is
The app is free and provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will keep your mixes safe; your data lives only on your device, so losing or resetting the device can erase it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update the app or these terms. When we change these terms we will update this page and its revision date; continuing to use the app afterwards means you accept the update. You can stop using the app and delete it at any time.
